MIIT offers training programs in STEM Robotics, AI, Coding, Drone Technology, 3D Design & Printing, Arduino & IoT, and teacher development. All programs are available through our hybrid online and in-person learning system, with STEM kits and materials delivered to students across the Maldives including regional islands and atolls.

STEM Robotics training helps students develop practical skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through exciting hands-on learning experiences. Through interactive projects, coding activities, electronic design, and teamwork, students learn how technology works while developing leadership, communication, and innovation skills. MIIT provides modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programmes for both students and working professionals.
For students, AI training builds an understanding of how artificial intelligence works and how to apply it creatively and responsibly.
For professionals — including government officials, private sector staff, and managers — the training focuses on applying modern AI tools to improve daily office work, communication, reporting, research, presentations, data handling, customer service, and productivity management. Through practical hands-on sessions, participants learn how to use AI technologies to work faster, smarter, and more efficiently while improving accuracy, creativity, and professional performance in today's digital workplace.

MIIT's Drone Technology Training is designed for youth interested in modern aviation, robotics, and smart technologies. Students learn the basics of drone design, drone assembly, flight control systems, remote controlling, safety operations, and practical flying techniques through hands-on training sessions. The programme prepares young learners for future opportunities in drone technology, smart automation, aerial photography, surveying, and advanced innovation industries.

MIIT's 3D Design & Printing training provides students with hands-on experience in modern digital manufacturing technologies. Students learn professional 3D design software, creative modelling techniques, and practical 3D printing skills using both single-colour and multi-colour 3D printers. The training includes designing and producing toys, household decorative items, school projects, prototypes, engineering models, and machine spare parts. Students develop innovation, design thinking, technical creativity, and future-ready manufacturing skills for the modern technology industry.

Coding and programming is one of the core skills MIIT teaches as part of its STEM and technology programmes. Students learn to code through interactive projects and hands-on activities, developing the technical foundations needed for careers in technology, AI, robotics, and innovation.

Maizan Institute of Innovation & Technology will provide advanced online and hybrid training programs specially designed for students and teachers living in the Regional Islands (Atolls) of the Maldives. Through modern digital classrooms, live video sessions, and practical STEM learning kits, students can participate in Robotics, AI, Drone Technology, Coding, 3D Design, and Innovation training from their own islands without traveling to Malé.

MIIT will also conduct a special “Train the Trainers Programme” for school teachers across the Maldives. This programme is designed to help teachers upgrade their knowledge and practical skills in:
